Today, we will arrive at WDW's Pop Century Resort around 7:30am. We'll check in and receive our Keys to the World. We hope to arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios around 8:30 am.
At rope drop, I will leave DH, DS, & Tee in the dust! I'll make the dash to get Fast Passes for Toy Story Mania, the new 4-D ride. If Tee's foot hadn't been having problems she would've made the dash. We both have finely honed Theme Park skills, but she still uses hers all summer long. We still amaze DH that we can just vanish into the crowds! LOL! Years of practise, years of practise.
We'll spend a good portion of the day here and when our rooms are ready around 3, we will leave and head back to the Pop! We'll lug it all to our rooms and get settled in just a bit. Depending on the time, we may even take a dip in the pool.
Tonight is our first ADR (Advance Dining Reservation) and we are eating at the 50's Prime Time Cafe. Our ressie is for 5:50, so we need to be in the parking lot by 5:30. This will be DH & Hoot's first time there. Last time I ate there was September 11, 2003. I had two of "Dad's Electric Lemonades" and wow, they really kicked some butt! Hands down, it was the best cocktail (and strongest at WDW!) I have every had! You can bet I'll have at least one tonight! I seriously hope DH gets picked on!
After dinner, we will do a few attractions and wait for Fantasmic! After, we hope to score another ride on Toy Story Mania. It's evening Extra Magic Hours here, so only resort guests will be allowed to stay in the park after 9pm.
